Website information
How Xpress Logistic Services uses and protects personal information submitted through this website, including recruitment enquiries.
Last reviewed: August 2026
This policy applies to the Xpress Logistic Services website and should be read alongside any service-specific terms or agreements.
Xpress Logistic Services Ltd is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. Privacy and recruitment questions can be sent to Operations@xpresslogistic.co.uk.
We may collect contact details, company information, quotation or enquiry details and technical information generated when you use this website. Recruitment enquiries may include your preferred role and location, relevant experience, licences or training, availability, reasonable-adjustment preference and any CV you choose to attach in your own email app.
Information is used to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, manage business relationships, assess candidate suitability, communicate about recruitment, maintain website security and meet legal obligations. The website does not automatically store or submit the current career application form; it prepares an email for the applicant to review and send.
Responding to a quotation or service request may involve steps before a contract or legitimate business interests. Our usual lawful basis for initial recruitment is legitimate interests, while legal obligations apply to checks such as right to work. We do not rely on consent to process information needed to assess an application.
At the first stage, please do not send passport or driving-licence copies, National Insurance numbers, bank details, medical information or criminal-conviction information. If later checks are needed, Xpress will request the minimum necessary information through an appropriate channel and explain why it is required.
Personal information is accessible only to authorised Xpress staff who need it and to service providers that host, secure or support relevant systems under suitable contractual arrangements. Xpress does not sell recruitment information. Any future provider processing outside the UK must use safeguards required by UK data protection law.
Unsuccessful applications are kept for up to 6 months after the recruitment process ends, unless an active complaint, legal claim or legal requirement makes longer retention necessary. If an applicant asks to be considered for future roles, information may be kept for up to 12 months from submission or the last meaningful contact. Relevant information for successful candidates may transfer to the employment record, while material no longer needed is deleted.
UK data protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict personal information and to object to certain processing. Contact Operations@xpresslogistic.co.uk with a privacy request. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
